Discussion on Cambodia’s Progress in Implementing UPR Human Rights Recommendations

On March 19, 2026, Mr. Mey Samith, Executive Director of PPCIL, participated in a discussion supporting Cambodia’s progress on implementing human rights recommendations from the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the UN Human Rights Council.

Civil society organizations (CSOs) discussed their role in mid-term reporting to assess progress and address challenges in implementing the wide-ranging human rights recommendations. The discussion was held at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Cambodia
