Key activities included:

– Learning about the general situation of persons with disabilities, inclusion, types of disabilities, and the importance of independent living, as well as relevant supporting policy documents.

– Conducting a home visit to a person with severe disabilities who is living independently in the community, in order to better understand real-life conditions and specific needs.

– Studying respectful and appropriate language usage, wheelchair handling techniques, and practical support methods to facilitate mobility.
