On the afternoon of February 23, 2026, PPCIL’s organization team welcomed Mr. Chun Nimol, Technical Advisor of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Cambodia, who visited the PPCIL office to interview staff regarding the “Project for the Development of an Inclusive Urban Transport Management Mechanism in Phnom Penh.”

Objective:
The project aims to make both public and private transportation services more accessible and inclusive for persons with all types of disabilities who need to travel. This includes ensuring that transportation such as public buses and tuk-tuks are equipped with accessible features, including ramps, designated seating, clear signage, accessible bus stops and waiting areas, and other necessary facilities to support persons with disabilities.
