Study Visit by Hiroshima University Specialists on Independent Living and Personal Assistance Services in Cambodia

On the morning of January 26, 2026, Mr. Mey Samith, Executive Director of PPCIL, and staff warmly welcomed Mr. Noriaki Maeda, Mr. Hironori Fujishita, and Ms. Haruka Yoshida (movement therapy specialists) from Hiroshima University, along with Ms. Noriko Hara, who visited to learn about PPCIL’s activities and the situation of persons with disabilities in Cambodia. The visit also focused on observing the independent living of persons with severe disabilities who use Personal Assistance Services provided by PPCIL.

The guests were introduced to PPCIL’s dried fruit production program, carried out by persons with disabilities. The visit concluded smoothly and positively, with promising prospects for future collaboration.
