On December 15, 2025, Ms. Som Yat, who is in charge of Administration and Finance at Phnom Penh Center for Independent Living (PPCIL), participated in the “2025 Annual Reflection Meeting for Sen Sok District and Ta Khmav City”. The meeting was organized by the Advocacy and Policy Institute (API) and held at Eden Park Restaurant.
Objectives of the workshop:
- To encourage citizens to actively use their rights to take part in Cambodia’s sustainable development.
- To strengthen the involvement of citizens, especially women, youth, indigenous peoples, and persons with disabilities
in promoting good governance at the local level. - To improve transparency and public access to information on national budgets, public procurement, economic land concessions, and environmental impacts.
